On this day we remember all the men and women who freely poured out kindness and courage to defeat darkness. On September 11, 2001 our nation was under attack against an enemy who had plotted malice. Yet through the horror our nation stood united in love. We locked hands, and wiped away tears. We found strength through acts of love and together we grew stronger. In remembrance, we honor our brothers and sisters for their courage to demonstrate love capable of restoring a nation in a time of devastation.
How easily it is to find misery and despair in the midst of disaster. However, those are moments that beckon us to rise in love, kindness, and perseverance. We encourage you today to seek love and share love with the world.
